Achilles - Mother (Thetis) Orders New Armor

Thetis, mother of Achilles, has ordered new armor for her son.  Hephaestus (the craftsman) gives Thetis the new armor - a scene interpreted on the inside (called the "tondo") of an ancient Greek cup.   This artifact is also known as the "Berlin Foundry Cup."
