Aristotle's School - The Surrounding Landscape

Ancient writers (like Plutarch VII, 668) tell us that Aristotle would sometimes walk with his students as he taught, and they pondered, the ideals of Platonic philosophy.  If archaeologists are correct - that they have found the ruins of Aristotle's royal school near the current town of Naoussa - then the area depicted in this photograph would be one of the places where Aristotle and Alexander walked thousands of years ago.
