Attila - Believes He Can Conquer the World

Huns used the steppes to their advantage, conquering everything in sight.  Attila and his wife had four sons, and - according to Priscus - the ruler combined modesty and ruthlessness.

Hunnic legend held that a sword of God (lost during ancient times) possessed great powers.  A cattle herder found what everyone believed was that missing sword, which he gave to Attila.  Thereafter, the Hunnic ruler and his advisors believed he would conquer the world.

Making good on his strengths, and minimizing whatever weaknesses he and his people possessed, Attila and his warriors continued to move west.
