Attila the Hun - Scourge of God

Great things were expected of Attila, even when he was young.  Within a few years of his birth, his people - the Huns - were creating an empire.  When he became their leader, in 434 A.D., the Hunnic Empire grew by staggering amounts every year.

Greatly feared by his enemies, Attila and his warriors were almost never defeated in battle.  A symbol of destruction, on the one hand, he was (and remains) a hero to many others.
