Brothers Karamazov, Part 14

Smerdyakov (Father Karamazov's son with another woman who died in childbirth) has an interesting discussion with his half-brother, Ivan. 

Treated more as a servant than a son of the old man, Smerdyakov isn't really interested in telling his story to the wider public - and takes drastic action to avoid it.

Ivan also takes drastic action - of a different kind - to right a wrong he may have set in motion.
