Camp Funston - Swine Flu Attacks

As American soldiers were preparing for war in Europe, during World War I, a deadly attack of flu (of the swine-influenza variation) descended on Camp Funston - in Kansas.  As soldier after soldier took ill, tent hospitals were set up on site.
