C.S. Lewis - A Trip with Joy Davidman Lewis

Still in remission, Joy was well enough to take a trip with Jack to one of his favorite places in the world.  In the rural inn, they drew closer.  In the pastoral countryside, they spent precious-but-fleeting days together.  It was one of the highlights of their married years.

These events, from the lives of Jack and Joy Lewis, are recreated by Anthony Hopkins and Debra Winger in this clip from Shadowlands, a film about their brief life together.
