C.S. Lewis - Joy Davidman Lewis Gets Cancer Remission

Although her cancer was so advanced by the time it was detected, Joy Davidman Lewis had a remarkable remission.  Not long after her bedside wedding at Wingfield Hospital, she was able to go home - to Jack's house (The Kilns).  Joy's doctors would eventually be surprised at how long her remission actually lasted.

These events, from the lives of Jack and Joy Lewis, are recreated by Anthony Hopkins and Debra Winger in this clip from Shadowlands, a film about their brief life together.
