Declaration of Sentiments - Oneida Whig Finds Fault

Among other criticisms of women's rights in general, and the Declaration of Sentiments in particular, we read the following from the August 1, 1848 issue of the Oneida Whig:

If our ladies will insist on voting and legislating, where, gentlemen, will be our dinners and our elbows? Where our domestic firesides and the holes in our stockings?
