Fort St. George - Bombay
The British built Fort St. George during their years of rule in Bombay (now Mumbai). One of the first British outposts, this fort fell to the French in 1745. His Majesty's troops recaptured the fort, but it fell to the French again (at least for awhile) in 1758. Although the fort still stands, it is in a state of disrepair.
