Helen Keller - With Polly ThomsonWhen Anne Sullivan (whose eyesight began to significantly fail near the end of her life) was no longer able to travel with Helen Keller, Polly Thomson filled the role. After Annie died (in 1936), Polly became Helen's constant companion and the verbal communicator between Helen and the public - until Polly also died, in 1957.
