Henry House - After the BattleJudith Henry refused to leave her home as the battle of Bull Run (First Manassas) raged on around her. This picture, from the Library of Congress, is one view of what was left of her home after the battle. Mrs. Henry, a bed-ridden widow, was a battle casualty. A new house was built, in 1870, and it still stands on the battlefield. |
