Hitler Awards Medals to Child Defenders
In one of his last public appearances - on the 20th of April, 1945 - Hitler spoke with members of the "Hitler Youth." He also awarded medals to many of them. This photo is from the Bildarchiv Preussischer Kulturbesitz (the Visual Archive of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation) which holds more than 12 million images.
