Inside Mrs. Paine's Garage

It was Ruth Paine, a Quaker separated from her husband and wanting to improve her Russian-language skills, who played an unwitting part in the murder of President Kennedy.

Not only did she give the Oswalds a play to stay, Mrs. Paine helped Lee Oswald get a job at the Texas School Book Depository.  And it was Ruth Paine who unwittingly provided a place for Oswald to store his rife:  in her garage.
