O-Ring Design - Objections to Lowered Standards, 2

Personnel from the Marshall Space Flight Center, in Alabama, objected to lowering the standards for the SRM (Solid Rocket Motor) O-Rings and clevis joints.  This memo, dated 9 January 1978, was written nearly three years before the first shuttle flight.
