JFK - Accepts the Democratic Nomination for President

At the Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles - on the 15th of July, 1960 - John F. Kennedy accepts the nomination of his party (on the first ballot) to run for President in November of that year.

He calls for a “New Frontier,” his successor to the “New Deal” (of Franklin Roosevelt) and the “Fair Deal” (of Harry Truman).
