Jumping Booth Fractures Leg

As he fell to the floor, after jumping from the box where he'd just shot President Lincoln, John Wilkes Booth fractured his leg.

This drawing, from the 29 April 1865 edition of Harper's Weekly, recreates that scene.  (It inaccurately reflects theater patrons in the lower-box seats.)
