Lillian Disney - Benefactor of Walt Disney Hall

Lillian Disney (1899-1997) was the widow of Walt Disney when she donated $50 million to build a state-of-the-art concert hall for the people of Los Angeles.  After years of delays, Disney Hall opened in 2003 - six years after Mrs. Disney died of a stroke.  She was 98.
