Lyndon Baines Johnson Takes the Oath of Office

LBJ is sworn-in as America's thirty-sixth president aboard Air Force One.  Soon thereafter, the presidential party left Dallas and returned to Washington.  Mrs. Kennedy was still wearing her blood-stained suit.
