Magic Bullet, MagnifiedThe "magic bullet," found on a stretcher (reportedly used by Governor Connally at Parkland Memorial Hospital), is shown here at high magnification. The Warren Commission concluded that this bullet caused the President's non-fatal injury and all of Governor Connally's injuries. In short, it reportedly did the following: passed through President Kennedy’s neck, Governor Connally’s chest, Governor Connally's wrist and Governor Connally’s thigh (where it came to rest). In other words, it traveled through fifteen layers of clothing, seven layers of skin, about fifteen-inches of tissue, struck the knot of a necktie, took out four inches of rib and shattered a radius bone.
