Motorcade in Dallas

Moments before the shooting, Nellie Connally (who was riding in the car with her husband, Texas governor John Connally) told JFK:  "You can’t say Dallas doesn’t love you, Mr. President.” 

Responding, the President said:  "That's very obvious." 

Seconds later, shots rang out.
