Oswald's Home on West Neely - Posed with RifleFor a time, Lee and Marina Oswald lived in an upstairs apartment at this Dallas home, located at 214 West Neely Street. Late in the afternoon of March 31st, 1963, Oswald descended the back stairs of this house, carrying an old bolt-action rifle. He had just purchased the weapon by mail-order and was very proud of it. He handed his wife a camera and asked her to take pictures of him with the rifle (and a revolver which he'd strapped in a holster on his hip). CreditsPhoto, U.S. National Archives.
