"Red Tails" is a LucasFilm movie inspired by the Tuskegee Airmen and their days of combat action: 

• Terrence Howard portrays a character based on Lt. Colonel Benjamin O. Davis, Jr.  

• Cuba Gooding, Jr., portrays a character based on Major George "Spanky" Roberts;

• David Oyelowo portrays a character based on Clarence D. "Lucky" Lester.

The film was distributed by 20th Century Fox.
