Romanov Family - Historic Video Footage

This historic footage - from the 20th of August, 1912 - shows the imperial family at the consecration of Feodorovsky Sobor (the Feodorovsky Cathedral) in the imperial village of Tsarskoe Selo.  When the Romanov family lived at the nearby Alexander Palace, the Feodorovsky Cathedral (featuring colorful interior art work) was their parish church.

The cathedral, originally built for Tsar Nicholas II, was damaged during World War II.  It has recently been restored.
