Route of Travel - From Japan to Pearl Harbor

This chart depicts the route of travel which the carrier-based operation followed from Hitokappu Bay to within striking distance of the island of Oahu.  During the entire voyage, all Japanese ships maintained strict radio silence so the attack would be a complete surprise.
