Stalin, Joseph - Soviet Leader, Part 2

After Stalin (born Iosef Vissarionovich Dzhugashvili) died in 1953, Khrushchev said the country’s former leader had committed grave injustices against the Soviet people.  Later, Gorbachev tried to pull his country away from Stalin’s legacy but, in doing so, broke the Soviet Union apart.

This video clip includes historical footage, recreated scenes and interviews (including a discussion with Mikhail Gorbachev).
