Declaration of Independence - Original Edits

The committee of five men, assigned to draft a Declaration of Independence from Britain, gave the major crafting job to Thomas Jefferson.  Numerous edits were then made to the draft, principally by Benjamin Franklin and John Adams.

This photo, depicting one of the original pages of the manuscript, reveals some of those edits.
