Trinity Test - The Fireball

As this orange-and-yellow fireball stretched up and spread, a mushroom cloud began to form.  Five miles from the Trinity Test site, George Kistiakowsky (one of the Manhattan-Project scientists) was knocked to the ground by the explosion's blast wave.
