Tsarevitch Alexei Romanov - Hemophilia Victim

Tsar Nicholas II, of Russia, was once the most powerful and richest man on Earth.  But that part of his life was before the First World War.  During that long, national nightmare, the Tsar's power and prestige took a dramatic downward turn.

This clip, from Mystery of the Romanovs, combines historical footage and recreated scenes.  It provides an overview of the last years of a dynasty which had lasted three centuries and focuses, to some extent, on Alexi - heir to the throne.
