Washington - Articles of Capitulation to Cornwallis

This is another page from General Washington’s handwritten diary, with excerpts on the Battle of Yorktown.

Here, on the 19th of October, 1781, the General notes: “In the morning early I had them [the proposed Articles of Capitulation] copied and sent word to Lord Cornwallis that I expected to have them signed at 11 o’clock...”
