Zee James

Zeralda Amanda Mimms (July 21, 1845 – November 13, 1900) married Jesse James on April 24, 1874. The two were first cousins and had been engaged for nine years.

Zee's father (John Wilson Mimms) was married to Jesse's aunt (Mary James - sister of Robert James, Jesse's dad). Zee Mimms was named after her aunt (Jesse's mother, Zerelda James).

Zee and Jesse had four children:

Jesse Edward "Tim" James (August 31, 1875 - March 26, 1951);
Twins Gould and Montgomery James (born/died February 28, 1878); and
Mary Susan James (June 17, 1879 - October 11, 1935).
