The Legend of Bagger Vance |
Arjuna tells Bhagavan: Take me in my chariot to the middle of the battlefield to the place between the two armies.
While there, viewing the scene, Arjuna is appalled. He sees wise people - wiser than he. He would rather die than kill them. He does not want to fight. |
Junah tells Bagger: Take me to the middle of the battlefield (the golf course), between the two golf greats (Hagen and Jones).
While there, viewing the scene, Junah is appalled. He sees legends of the game - better than he. He cannot "do battle" with them. He won't play. |
