Student Stories on the Statue of Zeus at Olympia - The Statue of Zeus By Joseph Xiarhos and Colton Johnson

Zeus was a baby who was almost eaten by his father because his father ruled a Titan army and thought he would be overthrown by one of his sons. Thanks to his mother she hid him in a cave so he lived. After that, he freed his brothers and fought his father and won. He also won against the Titan army. We still don't know what he is made of.

The Statue of Zeus is an amazing statue as you can see above. Crazy, right? It was made in honor of Zeus. As the god of all gods, he deserves it.

Zeus was the lightning god, but was also the king god and the god of all gods. This is the reason they made this statue for him. They honored him because of what he was. There is still more to know.

It is in Olympia Greece. This is where they built it too. No one knows when it was built but at least we have the statue. There are still more facts about the statue.

The statue is the Statue of Zeus. It was made in his honor, for his bravery. That is all about The Statue of Zeus.
