Alexander the Great - Background in Macedonia

Alexander was a Macedonian prince, the son of Philip  II and his wife Olympias.  In this video clip, from the BBC documentary - In the Footsteps of Alexander the Great, hosted by Michael Wood and also aired on PBS - we meet the real Alexander.

Only one image of him as a prince, created when Alexander was nineteen, is known to exist.  It was made, scholars believe, the year before he succeeded his father as king.
