Analyze How Complex Characters Develop

Standard Basis:

CCSS ELA Literacy RL.9-11.3

Not being born into royalty, Leonidas is trained as a soldier just like all other healthy boys in Sparta. Despite a normal beginning, Leonidas becomes the king and a legendary warrior. Make sure you define the word in your essay. Cite how Leonidas develops this trait over the course of the text and interacts with other characters. Cite directly from the story and links that provide evidence of the characteristic you chose.
