Bartholomew Chassenee - Lawyer for Rats

In The Advocate, Colin Firth plays the role of Bartholomew Chassenee - called "Richard Courtois" in the film - a French lawyer appointed by the court to represent animal defendants.

Struggling with the very issue of defending animals, charged with crimes, the lawyer is representing rats while simultaneously refusing to defend a pig.
