Blowing Bugles - CCF Forces in North Korea American History Famous Historical Events Geography Cold War

On the 1st of November, 1950, CCF (Communist Chinese Forces) startled American troops of the 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, when they blew their bugles, threw grenades and fired their burp guns at the unsuspecting U.S. troops. 

The Americans who survived the attack reported how shaken the events had left them.
