Coliseum - Home of the Oakland A's Geography Sports Visual Arts

The Oakland A's play their homes games at the Coliseum.  Built in 1966, the structure has had two major renovations and is located at 7000 Coliseum Way.

Its field dimensions are:

                                          Left Field - 330 feet (101 m)

                                          Left-Center - 367 feet (112 m)

                                          Center Field - 400 feet (122 m)

                                          Right-Center - 367 feet (112 m)

                                          Right Field - 330 feet (101 m)

                                          Backstop - 60 feet (18 m)

This photo depicts a scene at the Coliseum on September 2, 2002 - Labor Day, that year - when the A's were playing against the Kansas City Royals.
