Cory Lidle at the Controls of His Plane

Cory Lidle, at the controls of his small plane, flying over Clearwater, Florida in February of 2006. With him is Randy Miller (left), a sports reporter for the Bucks County Courier Times.

Later in 2006, after the baseball season was over, Lidle and his flight instructor—Tyler Stanger—accidentally crashed Lidle's plane into a New York City building.

Both Lidle and Stanger were killed in the October 11, 2006 accident.
