Employees of Thomas Edison's film company covered many aspects of the country's trauma following the assassination of President McKinley.

This image depicts still-shots from one of the Edison films.  It shows that crowds of people were waiting to view the President's body after his remains arrived in Canton, Ohio (where he and Mrs. McKinley had a home).
