Death at the Battle of Bunker Hill

Death at the Battle of Bunker Hill

The battle of Bunker Hill was costly for both sides.  British troops had endured nearly point-blank firing from Americans who were low on ammunition.

The Patriots lost 400 men, including Dr. Joseph Warren (as depicted in this painting), while the Redcoats lost forty percent of their 2,600 men (to either death or injuries).
