Dietrich Bonhoeffer was at Tegel Prison when this picture was taken in July of 1944.  He is standing in the prison yard.

After he was suspected of involvement with the July 20th plot to assassinate Hitler, however, he no longer had prison-yard privileges.  By October of 1944, he was transferred to the Gestapo prison on Prinz-Albrecht Street.
