Dunlap Broadside-First Printing, Declaration

On the evening of July 4, 1776, John Dunlap (a Philadelphia printer) created the first printing of the Declaration of Independence.

Now known as the "Dunlap Broadsides," only twenty-four are known to survive. This document, maintained at the U.S. National Archives, is one of them.
