Egerton House - Home of Llewelyn Davies Family

The once-famous English country house was located in Berkhamsted (northwest of London). The Llewelyn-Davies’ family lived here between 1904 and 1907. Arthur died in this house on the 19th of April, 1907.

The centries-old Elizabethan manor house was demolished in 1937, about the year that this photograph was taken. Today a movie theatre (Berkhamsted Rex Cinema) occupies the site of the former Davies home.
