Eiffel Tower in 1889

The Eiffel Tower—originally planned as a temporary structure—as it appeared at the Exposition Universelle, in Paris, during 1889.

This photograph was likely taken by Louis-Antonin Neurdein (1846-1914), a member of the French Society of Photographers. It is online via the Library of Congress.
