Hitler and His Plan of Conquest - The Nazis Strike

Hitler had a plan of conquest when he came to power as leader of the Third Reich.  His objectives are detailed in this 1943 film, produced (during World War II) by the US Army Special Service Division and directed by Frank Capra.

Part of the Why We Fight series, this is episode #2, entitled "The Nazis Strike." The film features historical events, narrated in the propaganda style of the time, including:

Early examples of German aggression in Europe;

Remilitarization of the Rhineland (despite prohibitions set forth in the Versailles Treaty);

The Anschluss (Hitler's annexation of Austria);

The Munich Conference (after which Neville Chamberlain gave his "Peace in Our Time" speech);

Hitler's occupation of the Sudetenland and the dismemberment of Czechoslovakia (despite Hitler's earlier assurances); and

The outbreak of World War II.
