Isaac Cline worked for the U.S. Weather Bureau on the 8th of September, 1900.  His story, and the role that he (and higher-ranking U.S. Weather Bureau employees) played in the "Great Storm of 1900" - dubbed "Isaac's Storm" - is told by Erik Larson.
