Latham Hotel in New York City

Worrying about whether his cover might have been blown, in the late spring of 1957, the Soviet spy Willy Fisher / Rudolf Abel decided to stay at Hotel Latham in New York City.

He set-up shop in room 836.

The 13-story structure, located at 4 East 28th Street in Manhattan, was built in 1906.

This image depicts how the hotel appeared in April of 2011.
