America had multiple funerals for President Lincoln as his body traveled, by train, from one city to another.

As the end of his journey neared, the train stopped in Chicago, Illinois.  The President's Chicago funeral took place in May of 1865.

This illustration of that event is based on a photograph, taken by Atschulet, and was published in the May 27, 1865 issue of Harpers Weekly.
