Little Boy Goes Into Enola Gay's Bomb Bay

Little Boy is raised for loading into the Enola Gay's bomb bay

On August 5, 1945, an atomic bomb (Unit L-11) - also known as "Little Boy" - was loaded into the bomb bay of a B-29 called Enola Gay.  This image depicts a scene from that loading process.
